The Jon "Daddy Warbucks" Cannon Scholarship Fund honors the incredible life of Jon Cannon. Greasepaint Youtheatre was a second home to Jon. He was honored several times as volunteer of the year, built sets for numerous shows, served on the Board of Directors, and even performed as the famous Daddy Warbucks. Jon could make anyone laugh and lived his life to the fullest. This fund celebrates his extraordinary compassion and devotion to Greasepaint Youtheatre that will never be forgotten.

The Jon “Daddy Warbucks” Cannon Scholarship Fund has been created to support local youth in participating in Greasepaint Youtheatre’s educational programming. Because of Jon’s extraordinary life, students who are interested in theatre now have even more opportunities to participate throughout the year. If you would like to apply for a scholarship to any of Greasepaint's educational programming, please send an email addressed to Greasepaint's Board of Directors indicating which program you are interested in experiencing, as well as a detailed description of what your expectations of the program will be. "Why do you want to do the program?", "What do you expect to experience?", and "What you can contribute to the ensemble of participants?" are all good questions to answer.
